As the Vice President, Global HR Business Partners, you will be a senior HR leader responsible for shaping and executing our global people partnership model in direct support of Gigamon’s business strategy. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you will lead the global People Strategy Partner (strategic HR Business Partner) function and serve as a primary strategic advisor to executive leadership across all business units and functions. Your role will drive organizational effectiveness, talent outcomes, and leadership capability at scale by aligning people strategies with growth priorities and organizational maturity. You will closely partner with HR Centers of Excellence and cross functional leaders to deliver integrated, data‑driven people solutions worldwide.
This role is based out of our Santa Clara, CA headquarters, following a hybrid schedule of on-site currently Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday (3 days per week), with additional on-site presence as business needs require.
What you’ll do:
- Lead, evolve, and scale the global HR Partners model to align with business strategy, growth objectives, and organizational maturity.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives and business leaders on organization design, workforce planning, talent strategy, succession planning, and leadership effectiveness.
- Partner closely with Total Rewards, HR Operations, Talent Acquisition, and Leadership & Development to design and deliver integrated, end‑to‑end people solutions.
- Drive organizational effectiveness initiatives, including change management, team effectiveness, and culture transformation, to enable high performance and agility.
- Use workforce insights, people analytics, and qualitative feedback to inform decision‑making and proactively address business and talent challenges.
- Ensure consistent application of HR policies, practices, and governance globally, while balancing local market requirements and cultural nuances.
- Lead, coach, and develop a high‑performing global team of HR Partners, building strong consulting, influence, and business acumen capabilities across the function.
- Act as a steward of Gigamon’s culture, beliefs, and leadership expectations, embedding them in leadership practices, talent processes, and organizational initiatives.
What you’ve done:
- Led a strategic HR Business Partner or equivalent people strategy function in a global, growth‑oriented organization.
- Advised executive‑level leaders on organization design, workforce planning, and broad talent strategies that enable business outcomes.
- Designed and implemented enterprise‑level organizational effectiveness, change management, and/or culture transformation initiatives.
- Collaborated effectively with HR Centers of Excellence (such as Total Rewards, HR Operations, Talent Acquisition, and Leadership & Development) to deliver integrated people solutions.
- Built, led, and developed geographically dispersed HR or people strategy teams to high levels of performance and impact.
- Applied people data, analytics, and workforce insights to shape strategy, influence senior stakeholders, and solve complex organizational challenges.

The base salary compensation range targeted for this role is expected to be between $272,000 - $320,000 (subject to terms and conditions of the plan). This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the Company’s compensation practices.
Employees in this position are eligible to participate in the Company’s standard employee benefit programs, which may include health and other insurances such as life and disability, and savings accounts such as a retirement plan with company matching contributions or similar, paid time off (holidays, vacation, and sick), tuition reimbursement, employee assistance program (EAP), business travel accident insurance, employee discounts, and employee referral program. Additionally, employees may be eligible to participate in the Profit Interest Units plan.
